Managing Stress in the Workplace

What is it about?

This is a half or one day training course which aims to enhance your confidence and competence in dealing effectively with stress in the workplace

  • To understand the difference between pressure and stress
  • To recognise the common signs of stress and patterns of behaviours and absence
  • To practise some stress management techniques
  • To explore how we can be pro-active in anticipating and avoiding undue stress
  • To look at monitoring and stress management systems at work and how to use them best
  • To have creative opportunities to apply theory to practice in a safe learning environment
