Alasdair Cant & Associates help people grow. Alasdair is an International Coaching Federation accredited coach. He works both one-to-one with individuals and with groups.

Why do I need a coach?
Coaching is a powerful yet straight forward process of getting to the heart of an issue. It focuses on the future, on individual growth and new possibilities.

How does it work?
Coaching is a deceptively simple series of focused conversations, yet structured and purposeful so that we work together on what matters to you, with clear objectives at the end of each session.

What happens?
We meet for an initial session, where there is no charge. This is a ‘get to know you’ session for both of us. We look at how we might work together, the practicalities, boundaries and so on. We then have a taster session of about half an hour of coaching. No pressure.

After that, depending on what suits you best, we meet for an hour, or two hours at a time at regular intervals depending on what works best for you. Typically sessions are weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

We check at regular intervals how things are progressing and adjust accordingly. You are in control of the process, and if there is any aspect of the coaching you are unhappy with, you can raise this. I usually expect individuals to commit to three sessions at a time, with opt out at any time.
